Residency: Amelia Crouch

Open afternoons: Wednesday 6 and Thursday 7 August 2025, 1-4pm

Amelia will spend her time on the residency developing a body of work about a dissatisfied customer, stuck in an apparently endless loop of conversations with a series of call centres. Print diagrams, short videos and a movement score will all be tested as ways to represent the encounter between a customer and a corporation.

Following her Embodied Cycles Collection, which explored cyclical living and the impact of menstrual cycles on women’s lives, Jules is now beginning a new collection focused on motherhood and the journey of becoming a mother—framed through the lens of the creative cycle. Much like the seasons, this cycle moves through four phases: Ideas, Holding, Birthing, and Pleasure.
