Free Workshop: Earth, A Cosmic Spectacle
Saturday 23 August, 2-4pm
Have you ever wanted to learn more about your role in the universe? This summer is your chance to find out, with a free workshop run by artist Louise Beer and astronomer Richard Darn.
Through talks and creative activities, they’ll work with you to explore your links to both the universe and Earth’s deep-time history through science and art.
Say Hello to Bloom
Bloom will support young women aged 18-25 in Calderdale with lived experience of mental ill health, addressing barriers faced in cultural careers, while also helping them to manage their mental health and wellbeing.

Celebrating Green and Blue Residency: Mishka’s Reflections Now Live
Over the course of six months, artist Mishka Lesayova embarked on the Green and Blue Residency , a collaborative project delivered with Everybody Arts and the University of Huddersfield, exploring how our interactions with natural environments shape our wellbeing, creativity, and sense of place.
Delve into Mishka’s beautifully crafted publication, offering a window into her findings and reflections as part of the residency. Discover insights and creative responses gathered and take a moment to consider your own relationships with nature and place.

Common Ground: An Exhibition Celebrating Health, Connection, and Community
