Celebrating Artists at St Augustine’s Centre

Wednesday 5 November - Friday 14 November 2025

Everybody Arts will be welcoming artists from St Augustine’s Centre (Halifax) to the gallery for a special residency this November.

Continuing their project working with local artist Zephie, featured artists from the centre will be exhibiting their work exploring the theme of identity. Including ceramic busts, writings and sketches, each work reflects that maker’s inner world.

During the residency, a series of photographs of centre members taken by photographer Nic Chapman will also be on display. Each individual was photographed in the place where they feel most at home in Halifax.

Artists from the centre will be working in The Everybody Gallery throughout the residency, and we can’t wait to see what they produce!

The gallery will be open to the public 1-4pm, Wednesday-Saturday, throughout the residency. Drop in to experience and be inspired by the voices, stories and creative expression of people who have fled war and persecution, as we work together to foster understanding and cohesion in our community.
