Art Pantry - Fun And Food For All The Family
Welcome to Art pantry!
This winter, we’re opening our doors to families of all shapes and sizes for free access to our art school and creative workshops. Whether you’re a long-time member of our community or visiting for the first time, you’ll find a warm, welcoming space filled with creativity and community.
At Art Pantry, there is something for everyone, including art activities for all ages, tuff trays for sensory play, toys and books for little ones. Families can also pick up pantry staples, fresh produce, and simple recipes to take home, while enjoying hot drinks, snacks, and great company.
Our new Art Pantry has been kindly funded by the Community Foundation for Calderdale, which has been designed to make creativity accessible to all. These monthly sessions are open to all families, with a special focus on those who may be excluded from cultural and community spaces due to financial hardship.
Held once a month on a Saturday afternoon from 1-3pm, there will be a brand new creative art activity to take part in during each session.
Our workshops celebrate sustainable, practical making — using natural objects as art tools, using recycled materials, making decorations that can be used time and time again, being resourceful upcycling to resourceful crafting that helps you save money and reduce waste. You’ll leave with new skills, cost-saving creative ideas, and maybe even a new hobby!
