Reflecting on Warm Club

Artworks Warm Club: Reflection

Artworks Warm Club ran on Fridays throughout January, February and March. Its aim was to provide a space that was open to all, including existing members of our community and those who were new to Artworks. We provided a warm space in our Everybody Gallery, with hot drinks, wifi and creative activities led by Esther Tait, Mishka Lesayova, Sarah O’Boyle and Fiona Pattison, and supported by Bex and Fiona throughout.

Thanks to everyone who attended the provision and took the time to share their feedback with us. It has highlighted to us the benefits of free provision and warm, welcoming spaces, particularly in the Winter months- we aim to seek funding for a similar project to run next Winter.

I’m so relieved that I found Warm Club because I have spent £1000 on energy at home in the last 6 months. Being able to attend Artworks where I’m welcomed, supported and introduced to creative art projects and workshops means so much at a time of such struggle. It has definitely saved me money and given me a sense of community
