Your School Session
Thank you for booking an art workshop or CPD session with Everybody Arts.
On this page you will find some information to help you get the most out of your session.
Our Facilities
If you have booked for your session to take place at Everybody Arts, please be aware that we are based in a former textiles mill that is a ‘naturally cold’ working space.
Your session will take place either in our art school on the ground floor or our gallery on the first floor. Each space is wheelchair accessible with kitchen and toilet facilities. If you are looking to take a tour of our building unfortunately our studio spaces on the top floor are nor wheelchair accessible at this time.
Your students can make use of our facilities to eat a packed lunch before or after the session, but this must be prearranged.
If you have booked a session to be held in your school, we will be in touch soon to confirm details about your space and access.
Getting Here
Everybody Arts is located on Shaw Lane in Halifax, HX3 9ET. There is a free car park towards the right hand side of Shaw Lane, just after the bridge over the railway line. Keep following the road and you will see the entrance to the gallery on your left and slightly further on, the main entrance. Next to the main entrance is space is a limited number of car parking spaces that are prioritised for disabled visitors and space for loading / unloading.
Everybody Arts can also be reached by public transport. We are a 10 minute walk from Halifax Railway Station, with direct links to Leeds, Huddersfield, Bradford and Manchester stations. Artworks is a 20 minute walk from Halifax Bus Station with regular services from across West Yorkshire. The closest bus stops are on ‘Shaw Hill Simmonds Lane’ & ‘Shaw Hill Gaukroger‘.
